I was a recent widow when I moved to North Carolina, so dealing with electrical issues caused me a lot of anxiety. During the process of buying my house, I was quoted $2,500 to connect a baseboard heater, and that didn’t include fixing the drywall the electrician told me he would need to tear out. I wanted another opinion, so I called a local company who boasts of being voted the best in the county. It took several calls before I could talk to anyone, and when I did, the electrician made it obvious he didn’t have time for me. I emailed all my electrical needs from my inspection and never heard back. I gave up and went through my first winter without heat in the bedroom. Finally, a neighbor gave me Patrick’s contact information with high recommendations. Patrick responded to me quickly and put me on his schedule within days, coming on a Saturday. He took care of all my minor issues, never once making me feel like a nuisance. He looked into my baseboard heater job and determined how to connect it without tearing out my drywall. His quote was thousands less than the other electrician. When Patrick completed the job, he told me it didn’t take him as long as he had anticipated, so he charged me even less! There isn’t a better or more respectful and honest electrician out there! Patrick continues to respond quickly to any of my needs or questions. 5 out of 5 starsI definitely recommend 828 Electrical. They came when they said they would and did a great job fixing the wiring to some switches and outlets that I had done incorrectly. It didn’t take them long to find what I did wrong and make the corrections. Patrick took the time to explain how to do it correctly. I’ll call on them again next time I need good electricians. He not only showed up when he said he would, but he was friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He follows through, checks in, and makes sure everything is done right. Needless to say, he is now our go-to electrician. As out-of-town owners of a rental cabin on a windy dirt road, having someone reliable gives us tremendous peace of mind.
